Web Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

The short version: when you make your plan on this site, we save it with your account so it's waiting for you in the Resolute app. We use analytics to learn which screens work, never with the text you write. Payments go through Stripe and we never see your card. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

This policy covers this website (the Resolute web planner) and purchases made on it. It's run by Cossani Group LLC ("we", "us"). The iPhone app has its own policy on the App Store listing.

Before you create an account

Your answers are kept only in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. If you leave without creating an account, they never leave your device.

Your account and your plan

To save your plan you create an account with Google or with your email. The account is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, which stores your email address, your name and profile photo link if Google shares them, a user ID, and the security data Firebase needs to keep accounts safe (such as sign-in dates and IP address).

Your plan is then stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), linked to your account, so you can open it in the app. It includes what you entered: your life-area scores, goals and the numbers that measure them, your Misogi, the actions and habits you chose, your routine, the chapters and checkpoints of your year, obstacles and if-then plans, habits to quit, your accountability preferences (including a partner's first name if you gave one) and your reasons. Only you, signed in to your account, can read it. Firebase stores it on Google's servers in the United States.

Emails

We record whether you agreed to get emails from us, when and how. Depending on where you are, you either tick a box or see a notice before you sign up. We may send you occasional tips and product updates; every email has an unsubscribe link. Messages about your account or purchases (like receipts) are sent regardless.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. We use RevenueCat to sell and manage subscriptions. RevenueCat and Stripe receive your account user ID, your email (for the receipt), the plan you chose, your purchase and subscription history (trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds), your country and technical data about your browser. Stripe also uses payment data to prevent fraud.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people use the site. It receives:

• Product interaction: which screens you view and which buttons you tap, with counts and categories (for example how many goals you set or which life area they belong to). Never the text you write.
• How you arrived: campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm parameters, the video episode and, if you came from an Instagram conversation, a ManyChat subscriber number).
• Purchases: which plan you chose and later subscription events (trial converted, renewed, cancelled), sent by RevenueCat.
• Identifiers and technical data: a random browser identifier, your account user ID once you have one (never your email or name), browser, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address.

We don't record your screen, and we don't use this data for advertising or to track you across other companies' websites or apps.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your data. Google Firebase, Stripe, RevenueCat and PostHog process it only to provide their service to us. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and plan until you delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices and rights

• To delete your account and the plan saved with it, or to get a copy of your data, write to resoluteplannerapp@gmail.com from the email on your account. We reply within 30 days.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any of them.
• Cancel a subscription bought on this site from the link in your receipt email. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it.
• If you're in the EU, UK or another place with similar laws, you can also ask us to correct your data, limit or object to how we use it, or move it elsewhere, and you can complain to your data protection authority. We process your account and plan to provide the service you asked for, purchases to fulfil and account for them, analytics and service emails in our legitimate interest in improving Resolute, and marketing emails with your consent.

International transfers

We and our providers are based in the United States, so your data is processed there. Our providers use standard safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, for data from the EU and UK.

Children

Resolute is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
